decent location, some disappointments

convenient locationmusty smellthin walls
the location was definitely convenient for getting around. it was close to the gardens and some nice cafes.
My room was smaller than expected. the bathroom felt cramped, there was a persistent musty smell i couldn't ignore. i also found the walls to be quite thin. I could hear conversations from the neighboring rooms fairly clearly.

eric at reception offered us the choice of two rooms, such a thoughtful gesture. we chose a large king room because of his recommendation and we were very happy. the hotel has a great location near major sites, yet a local atmosphere exists away from heavy tourist traffic.
I had to go up separately from my travel partner with our suitcases.

the hotel's location proved convenient for visiting nearby attractions. luxembourg gardens are really close. the staff member, eric, was helpful to me. breakfast offered enough options.
my room seemed somewhat small upon arrival. i could only enter one at a time with my suitcase. the carpet was to be old too.

the location proved convenient, quite close to several points of interest. the staff were helpful. i felt taken care of. the room was clean upon arrival, it was reassuring.
the room i occupied seemed smaller. it was hard to move with luggage. it made transporting bags a bit difficult.
